The LGMN vinyl is a 10-track rap album. The album explores its musical influences through a multitude of languages, including Wolof, English and French.
This musical project is the fruit of 6 years of research into writing, composing and distributing music.
Lo gëm, mu nekk" translates from Wolof into French as Advient ce que tu crois.
Bocar imagines the Lo gëm, mu nekk concept as a slogan for young Senegalese. To give hope and courage to Senegalese and African society and its diaspora, who are desperately enduring the perpetuation of African dictatorships.
LGMN calls for dialogue, open minds and open mentalities, and advocates friendship, solidarity and mutual respect between the inhabitants of the Earth.
Sound art is a powerful means of connecting and sharing good vibes.
